December 9 – Day 52 after femur rod removal surgery. My physical recovery was going well. However, I had a temporary setback as on day 41, I noticed an infection developing on my right ankle where the syndesmotic screw was removed.
I visited my local physician and contacted Dr Assayag on day 44. My ankle infection is doing much better after taking antibiotics, but my road to full athletic recovery will be delayed a few weeks.
